My approach
I'm a CBT-trained therapist, which is a fancy way of saying I care about what you do with a thought, not just where it came from. In my office, we don't spend six months excavating your childhood before you get a single tool. You get tools in week one.
My courses work the same way. Short lessons. One skill at a time. Homework you can do in five minutes, because I know you won't do the forty-five-minute version — and honestly, neither would I.
If you like a teacher who is kind but won't let you off the hook, we'll get along.
Why I teach here
I can see maybe 25 clients a week. That's it — that's the ceiling. But the things I teach in session aren't secrets; they're skills. Putting them in a course means the version of you who can't afford weekly therapy, or who's on a three-month waitlist, still gets the good stuff. A course is not therapy — I'll say that every chance I get — but it's a real start, and for a lot of people a real start is everything.

What learners say
“Lesson 4 alone was worth the price. "Thoughts aren't instructions" is on a sticky note on my monitor now.”
“Short enough that I actually finished it. Funny enough that I didn't dread it. My husband noticed the difference before I did.”

Specialties
Good fit if: you want warm-but-no-nonsense, you like a plan, and you appreciate a joke at anxiety's expense.
Maybe not if: you want long meditative sessions or deep psychodynamic work — other founding therapists will fit better.
